I have been working at Abysub in Fuengirola through the previous summer, along with Adrian the owner. I still needed to take hundreds more dives and several more exams to meet the criteria that will enable me to take my PADI Master exam. So this last summer was all about logging as many dives as is possible and progressing with my courses which are available in the shop along with kitesurfing lessons.
Once I have passed all of my exams I will officially open my own dive school, hopefully somewhere where the waters are warm and crystal clear, in a location that will allow me to dive through out the year. It may be in the Caribbean, in the Mediterranean, in Australasia or in the Indian Ocean. The world is my oyster - literally!
This website has been created so that budding scuba divers can follow me through my dive education and learn from both my successes and my mistakes - no doubt there will be a few. I will be posting messages and information as I go along and you will be able to read about my progress. On this site you will find information about some of the best dive sites in the world, how to get your PADI - where to take your PADI - why PADI is the most respected diving association in the world. What jobs can you get as a qualified diver. All sorts of useful information for both beginners and experienced divers.
Take a look at my dive site and see what you think. You can also e-mail me with photos and information about places you have dived and recommendations for myself and my readers.
